About Us
The Greater Cincinnati/Dayton Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. Our primary goal is to provide scholarships to local students as well to promote the interest and welfare of WVU, to encourage closer fellowship among the alumni & friends in the region, and to establish closer contact and better understanding between the University and its graduates and former students. Any graduates, former students of WVU, or any individuals who show interest in the University may become active members of this chapter.
Our Officers
Our officers are all graduates from WVU and have a combined 210 years of professional experience across 15 different degrees. We are working hard to support local alumni, as well as current students & prospective students.

Our Scholarship
For over 20 years, the Cincinnati / Dayton Alumni Chapter has provided at least one scholarship to a local student who attends WVU. The scholarship is one of the the ways our chapter gives back to our alma mater and the the local community. To date, the chapter has given out over $25,000 to help support local students. Our endowment now provides $3,000 annually (in perpetuity) for deserving students in our area to attend WVU. All proceeds, earning, and donations are invested back into the endowment - these funds are managed by the WVU Foundation. We hope to cross the $100K in the next 2-3 years which will allow us to support additional students or provide higher awards.
